In the Spotlight: Rosso Grande

Welcome to the first edition of our new “In the Spotlight” column. This series will feature wines from our Wine List that are often overlooked. First up:

Rosso Grande

Similar to Italian Amarone, this “Big Red” is made from Corvina & Rondinella grapes, though grown in California. It has been available at the Wine Shoppe since 2001, has a dedicated following and has won many awards at the
“WineMaker International Amateur Wine Making Competition” since 2007. Its dense colour, ample oak and rich body are well rounded by lush, fruit-forward smoothness. Rosso Grande is a dry, powerful wine with finesse and elegance.
